Clouds…

Clouds…

We see them
as impenetrable
and as dense
as a forest
or
or
as permeable
and translucent
as a clear stream
much like
we have a tendency
to view
our fears
our supposed
shortcomings
our lack
our (fill in the blank!)

I can imagine
when the first pilots
encountered dense clouds
no matter the aircraft
they were grabbed
by the throat
and the thought
of slicing
through them
was almost
as unthinkable
as how we view
our own
personal demons
and walls of doubt
and (fill in the blank!)
