One of the most satisfying things I do is teach and coach. Out of those experiences, every once-in-a-while one of the students totally takes the wind out of my sails. In the spring of last year I was teaching a poetry class for the University of New Mexico, Continuing Education program.

I had two people from that class rise way above any expectations I might have had for them…
