what matters most…

Inhabiting the Self

We live
in a dichotomy of self
where
there is much discussion
about
the road
the path
the end game.

What does that say
about
who we are
or
who we are meant to be
in this time
of so much
so much
confusion
so much infusion
so much indecision.

There are those
who seem
to have lucked out
in their childhood
in their life
in their self.

But
with that “lucked out”
comes a lifetime
of dedication
of study
on contribution
of focus
of hard work
and more
hard work.
